Application Delivery Services Senior Architect

is responsible for defining an architectural vision and architecture for large complex solutions, which aligns with the enterprise architecture strategy, technology, and platform choices. Describes the solution intent and the associated operating environment, determining the primary systems/subsystems and their interfaces, defining non-functional requirements and architectural runway to support new epics/features and expand into new opportunities.Key Responsibilities & Professional Competencies:Senior-level technical visionary that will align technology capabilities with business requirements, define architectures, develop technology stacks, define roadmaps, provide thought leadership, develop and maintain architecture principles and engineering standards.Engage with the firm's various Lines of Businesses and their CTO teams to understand their business requirements.Develop solutions that meet or exceed stakeholder requirements.Vetting solutions against Information Security policy and engaging technical stakeholders (Infrastructure Architecture/Engineering/Implementation/Operations teams).Socializing and garnering executive support of proposed architectures.Drive proposed solutions through Architecture tollgates and obtain required approvals.Required Qualifications:10+ years of experience working as a networking subject matter expert in Application Delivery Services (F5 Networks or VMWare ALB).Expert-level load balancing experience (10+ years preferred) with tiered-designs in large enterprise environments.Advanced-level knowledge of network architecture and protocols.Proficient in Hybrid Cloud concepts, value propositions, and public cloud services (Azure, AWS, GCP).Micro-services (Containerized applications, OpenShift/Kubernetes).Demonstrates architecture delivery best practices.Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.Experienced with commercial events (RFI, RFP, etc.).Excellent customer service skills including reporting, organization, written and oral communication, and task prioritization.Ability to produce clear written communications for diverse audiences.Demonstrated ability to create and deliver persuasive presentations.Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive consensus.Desired Qualifications:BA or BS in relevant field (e.g., Telecommunications, Information Security, Computer Science), or equivalent experience.Experience in an Agile managed organization using products such as Jira, Kanban, Confluence, and Horizon.Must be a highly motivated, self-directed individual capable of supporting multiple large initiatives.Python, PERL, BASH scripting experience.Ansible, Itential, CICD Processes.vSphere (vCenter, ESXi, vSAN).SDN-based Service Chains.Shift:
