Corporate Development Analyst
actively participates in the mergers and acquisitions process and has responsibility for driving acquisitions and other similar transaction projects forward. This role will report to the Vice President of Corporate Development and will work closely with business units and executive leadership.
ResponsibilitiesResponsible for preparing financial and operational proformas for new acquisitions or partnerships.Works with home managers to test assumptions used in the proformas.Assist with due diligence collection, coordination, and discovery calls with sellers.Responsible for the coordination and uploading of documents into the Business Development Team Room.Assist with the completion of assigned Corporate Development spreadsheets.Assist with updating Corporate Development records in M&A databases.Copy records, policies, and other pertinent documents and distribute copies as directed.Edits and publishes LHC pipeline for weekly meetings with internal stakeholders and UHG M&A team.Presents pipeline updates to internal stakeholders in Monday meetings with oversight from the Director.Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Education and ExperienceFormal Education: Bachelor's DegreeExperience: 3 yearsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or other relevant experience1-3 years of experience in a corporate M&A or finance environment, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, consulting, public accounting, or another financial investment institutionExposure to integrated financial modeling and valuationMust be proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPointMust have strong quantitative and analytical skills
