However, there is no intention to convert to a full-time position. The hiring manager also mentioned there is no flexibility in the bill rate.Location preference: Jersey City (local candidates preferred), but candidates in Plano or Columbus will be considered. Business Casual / CasualRoles and Responsibilities:Research, design, and engineer network security products with a focus on proxy-based Edge Secure Web Gateway (SWG) solutionsDevelop perimeter network security and connectivity including on-prem, internet, and public cloudHands-on experience with Palo Alto SSE/SASE solutions and cloud security architecturesDesign solutions and introduce new feature requirements for clientsDevelop and maintain scripts for device pave/repave and automate day-to-day tasksDevelop engineering standards and artifacts for certified productsHardware and software certificationsAct as the escalation point for Network Operations and Service Delivery teamsCross-team coordination and collaboration with stakeholdersSkills:Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:5+ years of network security design, engineering, and implementation experience within a large enterprise environment5+ years of experience in designing and engineering proxy-based Edge Secure Web Gateway (SWG), Secure Service Edge (SSE), and SASE solutionsExperience with other SWG and SSE vendors: Palo Alto, Zscaler, NetskopeSoftware development experience in one or more general purpose programming/scripting/DevOps languages: Python, Ansible, Terraform, JSONExperience with microservices, CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, APIsBS/BA degree or equivalent experiencePreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:Experience in SASE, SSE, and SWGExperience with internet and cloud DMZ architecture and load balancingExperience with employee remote access solutionsExperience with stateful and application layer firewall technologies is a plusExperience working with Agile methodologies like Kanban & Scrum
