Position Overview

Our client, a rapidly growing company in the Philadelphia Metro Area, is seeking a Director of FP&A to lead the financial planning and analysis function. The Director of FP&A will oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and provide strategic insights to support executive decision-making. This position will play a critical role in aligning financial strategies with business objectives. The candidate will work on-site 3 days a week.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.Develop and maintain advanced financial models to support strategic decision-making and business performance analysis.Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership to guide financial strategy and operational decisions.Analyze financial performance, identifying trends and delivering actionable insights to improve profitability and efficiency.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between financial goals and operational objectives.Manage the capital allocation process, conducting ROI analysis on key investments.Lead monthly and quarterly financial reviews, presenting key insights to executive leadership.Support M&A activities, including financial due diligence, modeling, and integration planning.Continuously improve FP&A processes and systems to enhance forecasting accuracy and operational efficiency.

QualificationsProven experience as a Director of FP&A or senior financial leadership role.Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis.Strong track record of providing strategic financial insights to support executive-level decision-making.Experience with M&A activities, including financial due diligence and integration.Advanced proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel.Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and cross-functional teams.Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
