What Will You Be Doing?
The Senior Analyst, Network Scheduling is responsible for coordinating the design and development of Frontier’s flight schedule that will yield industry leading revenue and operational performance. Working with Network Planning and Scheduling, this Analyst will understand market frequency requirements while working in the confines of limited fleet and station resources. Reviewing connectivity of the banks, patterns, curfews, allocated slots, maintenance, gating, crew modularity and operational reliability. Working cross functionally across multiple groups in the airline. Creating multiple schedule scenarios and training other Flight Schedules Analysts.
Essential Functions
Produce detailed, fully dated schedules that adhere to:
Maintenance needs
Holidays
Crew projections
Airport and gating availability
Eliminate crew inefficiencies
Optimize connectivity
Reflect proper allocation of aircraft types and sub-fleets
Contain aircraft routings that satisfy maintenance requirements
Work with senior management on requested monthly schedule adjustments
Responsible for closing monthly schedules
Responsible for communicating schedule changes to System Operations Control, Crew scheduling, Crew Planning, Reservations, Maintenance, Customer Service and all other customer interfacing teams
Manipulate scheduling software to create new reports and processes that improve scheduling efficiency and communication
Act as a resource when schedule questions arise
Assists Planning department with flight scheduling inquiries
Efficient prioritization of daily responsibilities
Develop/modify/manage schedule files using flight scheduling software.
Attend industry conferences at manager’s request
Participate and assist with Schedules Analyst and Schedules Analyst II’s responsibilities
Other Functions
Maintain fleet count and available aircraft time
Manage and implement all close in block time adjustment requests
Work with business partners to produce operationally viable schedules
Access FlightTrac to produce and manage communicative reports to external and internal recipients
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Aviation Management or similar discipline required; combination of relevant education and work experience considered in lieu of degree requirement
Advanced degree preferred
Minimum 5 years of experience in airline scheduling or planning
Previous experience this FlightTrac and DIIO
Must have prior experience in publishing flight schedules
Previous experience with SQL and python helpful
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Previous knowledge in Sabre Schedule Management System
Advanced knowledge of airline operations, economics and scheduling
Proven ability to efficiently summarize variances and present recommendation to upper management
Must be able to independently identify a problem and sift through multiple data sources for resolution
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to handle confidential material
High degree of PC skills (MS Office applications, database tools, etc.)
Excellent understanding of airline operational restrictions (SOC, Dispatch, Crews, CS, etc.)
General knowledge of North American geography
Work Environment
Typical office environment, adequately heated and cooled
Occasional travel may be required
Salary Range
$72,000 - $96,331
