We are more than just a job.How Will You Make an Impact?Assisting on calculating economic damages in different types of matters, such as litigation matters involving patent, trademark, and copyright infringement, theft of trade secrets, breach of contract, business valuation, solvency, fraud, business interruption, personal injury, wrongful death, and wrongful termination.Communicating with associate directors, directors, and managing directors on the directions of the case and assisting in making strategic recommendations; exercising analytical skills for details and potential risks.Assisting the associate directors and directors in delivering complete reports, accompanied by relevant supporting documents, to the managing director for review.Preparing the testifying expert for client meetings, depositions, and trials; ensuring the file is well-organized and all work papers and important documents are put in a binder for a quick and easy review by the testifying expert.Developing an internal and external circle of influence; participating in networking events, marketing events, and training.Effectively managing projects by setting internal objectives, delegating assignments, and ensuring objectives are met in a timely manner.Leading departmental training for analysts and fostering a learning environment of continuous improvement. Scheduling in-house training, lunch and learns with analysts and all members of the team as a whole.Reviewing the work of analysts or associates, sending back for corrections and changes, if needed, and providing feedback to the analysts or associates. Reviewing the formatting of any schedules prepared (e.g., extra lines deleted, consolidation of information, etc.); spell check, and foot/cross foot numerical totals for accurate financial information analysis.How Will You Get Here?5+ years of progressive experience in accounting and/or finance culminating into a leadership role including management experience, preferably in a consulting environment.Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or economics.
