As a Grant Accountant, you will play a vital role in grants management and ensuring compliance with regulatory accounting & financial reporting standards. Be the primary fiscal contact for sub-recipients and funders; understand specific grant requirements; ensure compliance on contract conditions and assurances; ensure reporting requirements are met.Assist in the day-to-day financial operations of the organization, including accounts payable, general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, etc.Collaborate with program managers and department heads to provide financial guidance and support for grant management and reporting.Approve invoices and expenses related to various programs managed.Stay updated on accounting regulations, nonprofit industry standards, and best practices.Assist in the annual audit process by preparing supporting schedules, coordinating with auditors, and addressing inquiries.Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field2-5 years of progressive nonprofit accounting experienceExperience with nonprofit accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Blackbaud) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.$65,000 - $75,000 a year#J-18808-Ljbffr
