You dig in when necessary to ensure the team succeeds – and if you need a hand, you aren’t hesitant to ask for help.The impact you’ll have includes:Providing a common provisioning, identity and access management (PIAM) capability eliminating friction as the user pivots from tool to tool within the portfolio and simplifying user management.Enabling Cisco Secure product teams to accelerate delivery of value and focus more on innovation.Providing great developer experience for the product teams within Cisco Security – by providing highly available APIs with documentation and libraries, self-service tools, and platform observability.What you’ll be doing:This is a highly visible role that requires expertise in Identity and Access Management. In this role, you'll engage and influence key stakeholders, lend expertise to a team of developers, and be able to break down complex problems into simple solutions. You should also be able to get hands on and code when necessary. You will also:Perform daily code reviews and maintain good code healthDesign and develop new features and capabilitiesUnderstand and estimate level of effort for feature requestsMentor team membersAssist with vulnerability managementDiagnose production issues and remove blockersLead engineering-led investmentsBasic Qualifications:10+ years of Software Development experience5+ years of experience developing products and features using Golang or Java5+ years of experience deploying large-scale cloud-native applications in AWS2+ years of experience using Identity and Single Sign-on technologies such as OIDC, OAuth, SAML, Okta or similarPreferred Qualifications:Familiarity with secure development practices - e.g., mitigating the OWASP Top TenThis position is remote, candidates should be flexible to align with west coast business hours.Why Cisco SecureWe're global, we're adaptable, we're diverse, and our security portfolio is as extensive as it is groundbreaking.
