Extensive training will be provided along with a strong support system throughout the department for any questions regarding protocols, image quality issues or other concerns.DUTIES:Performs procedures by following and verifying referring providers’ orders.Produces high quality images and prepares/presents them with other pertinent patient information for timely interpretation.Prepares and maintains accurate documentation.Performs and evaluates equipment quality control measurements.Maintains a safe environment for patients and personnel.Responsible for protecting Zone IV by following all ACR and Banner Imaging safety processes.Patient care is one of Banner Imaging’s highest expectations, therefore, working in any patient STAT exams are expected if necessary.LOCATION:PRIMARY: Banner Imaging Chandler Breast Center- 1076 W. Chandler Blvd, Ste 120, Chandler, AZ 85224SECONDARY: Other east valley outpatient clinicsSHIFTS/HOURS:Full Time- 40 Hours6:30 am - 5:00 pm (10-hour shift) or 6:30 am - 8:00 pm (13-hour shift)Days might vary, to include rotating Saturdays and Sundays (12-hour shift)MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Requires national certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and/or modality qualified licensure (NMTCB, ARDMS, ARMRIT). Licensure by the state regulatory agency, as applicable. Advanced certification by accrediting body in MRI required within 18 months of hire. BLS certification required.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
