is a private practice offering patient-centered treatment for individuals and families struggling with their mental health. We strive to help people reach their full potential through a multi-service line approach. Our team is comprised of Psychiatrists, PMHNPs, and Psychotherapists of all backgrounds and specialties, including trained technicians to support alternative treatments like Deep TMS Therapy and Spravato. Our patient-centered practice offers multiple service modalities to ensure the right treatment path – because mental health is a journey, not a destination.

Role of Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

The role of a PMHNP at CMC of PA is to provide direct one-on-one high-quality counseling, medication evaluation, and management to a range of clients with mental health diagnoses. A PMHNP is responsible for directing treatment under the supervision of the Director of Psychiatry, including case consultation as needed. Additional resources for collaboration will include our Chief Medical Officer, a Triple Board-Certified Psychiatrist (Pediatrics, General Psychiatry, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry).CMC of PA offers a multidisciplinary and integrative approach, working collaboratively with the patient’s psychotherapist to provide a full range of care. Furthermore, CMC of PA offers exciting new treatment modalities, including Deep TMS and Spravato. To ensure optimal patient care, PMHNPs are scheduled for a minimum of 1-hour evaluations, 90-minute evaluations for minors under 18 years of age, and 30-minute medication management appointments.PMHNPs will have a dedicated Coordinator to assign caseloads based on specialty, as well as office staff to assist with scheduling, patient documentation collection, and payments. Along with our in-office referrals, CMC of PA has a close relationship with outside referral sources, including hospitals, universities, and healthcare offices. Additional opportunities include working in CMC of PA’s intensive outpatient program.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an advanced degree as a Psychiatric Nurse.Current and valid Pennsylvania Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) License.Prior experience in behavioral health including prescribing medications.Active DEA/CSR certificate license required.

Scheduling and Availability

Full-time, part-time, and/or 1099 positions available. Hybrid, in-person, and fully remote options are available. The practice is open Monday – Thursday 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM and Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexible working hours for later availability. No weekend or on-call duties.
