The Oracle Analytics Cloud Service, one of Oracle’s leading cloud offerings, is a strategic growth product for Oracle. Its data visualization and business intelligence platform reinvent analytics, simplifying how customers analyze and act on information across their entire organization.

As a member of the Oracle Analytics engineering team, you will be involved in the complete software development and delivery lifecycle of the Analytics service ranging from architecture, design, development, debugging, lifecycle management, quality, automation, deployment, and production support of the various offerings of Analytics on cloud. You will work closely with your leaders and peer developers located across the world, including Mexico, UK, Australia, and the USA.

Key Qualifications:

BS/MS in Computer Science or related major

Strong written and verbal English communication skills

Self-motivated and passionate about developing high-quality software

Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies

Solid skills in Java software development

Highly skilled in Linux/System knowledge/Infrastructure as a Service and Shell scripting

Hands-on experience with one or more Public Cloud infrastructure (e.g., Oracle, AWS, Azure)

DevOps mindset to address real-time customer issues in production

Strong fundamentals and hands-on experience working with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes

Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks, etc.

Strong understanding of fundamental distributed system principles.

Hands-on experience using source control tools such as GIT and build technologies such as Maven/Gradle

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, and deliver new features on a world-class analytics platform suitable for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

Lead the creation of formal design specifications and development of complex systems, particularly in the Cloud infrastructure and orchestration space.

Work closely with the Product Management and technical leadership team on product requirements and functionality.

Contribute to automation and CI/CD framework.

Build software applications following established secure coding standards.

Communicate continually with the project teams, explaining progress on the development effort.

Contribute to continuous improvement by suggesting enhancements to software and deployment architecture or recommending new technologies.

Participate in DevOps activities to maintain our fleet in Oracle Cloud.

Work with the support team to address customer issues.

Ensure quality of work through development standards and QA procedures. Perform maintenance and enhancements on existing software.
