KPMG is currently seeking an SQL Developer to join our Tax Ignition Team.Responsibilities:
Design databases and schemas tailored to corporate needs and ensure they operate efficiently and securelyManage all database development phases and seek effective solutions for improving speed and performanceImplement the overall design, monitoring and optimizing of company databasesPlan the logical storage structure of the database and backup processes for servers and associated dataMonitor and maintain system health and security and the performance of the database during data access operationsProvide technical support and problem resolutionQualifications:
Minimum five years of recent industry experience in database design and development with advanced proficiency in SQL along with performance tuningBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferredStrong technical foundation in database configuration, installation and maintenance, as well as solid communication skillsPrior experience in database, production and on-call environments while performing work with minimal to moderate supervision; able to apply and interpret business rules and concepts in daily workDemonstrated experience setting up and deploying CI/CD pipelines, code versioning using Azure DevOps is preferredExperience in Azure Data Engineering, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, and Azure SQL would be an added advantageKPMG complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges.
