From troubleshooting to fixing bugs, you use your operations and maintenance skills to ensure that things run smoothly. We’re looking for an experienced software sustainment accessibility designer like you to apply your knowledge to our government clients’ challenges and legacy enterprise systems.As a software sustainment accessibility designer at Booz Allen, you’ll have an operational impact from day one. With a team of professionals, you’ll maintain applications and keep systems working. You and your team will use programming and scripting languages as you continuously enhance and maintain the applications, troubleshoot any issues that arise operationally, and upgrade the systems to meet security requirements.Most importantly, you’ll advise our government clients on the best ways to improve and modernize the existing systems. The world can’t wait.You Have:Experience with Red Cyber and reviewing vulnerabilities and maintaining and making minor changes to existing applications or keeping those systems working in a sustainment modeExperience with legacy enterprise systems, working in a microservices or distributed application environmentExperience with workflows, web parts, site maintenance, APIs, or cloud platformsExperience with basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks, and designing and debugging applicationsKnowledge of source control systems, including GitAbility to create and test modules and components for compliance with design specificationsAbility to develop and test interfaces between software products and products of vendorsTop Secret clearanceBachelor’s degree or 5+ years of experience with software development in lieu of a degreeCompTIA CASP+, CISSP, or a CSSLP certificationNice If You Have:Experience with Java, Python, C#, C / C++, .NET, JavaScript, React, Angular, NodeJS, PHP, Bash, Visual Basic, Groovy, or LuaExperience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud PlatformExperience with Microsoft products, including SharePoint, Windows Server, or SQL ServerKnowledge of shell scripting and automationKnowledge of DevOps, continuous integration, and continuous deploymentKnowledge of relational and hierarchical data structures and functional programmingAbility to lead design and code reviews and address findings within a collaborative, cross-functional team in an agile environmentClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.Compensation:At Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
