As a company committed to diversity and inclusion, we encourage all professionals who meet the job description requirements to apply.The Renewables North America division is seeking an energy marketing professional to support the origination of offtake agreements for our growing pipeline of utility-scale wind, solar and battery storage projects across the U.S.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESWork closely with the Origination team to originate, negotiate, execute, and manage power purchase agreements (PPAs) and other offtake contracts.Support the origination process from start to finish including responding to RFPs and/or engaging in bilateral discussions, contract negotiations, and internal approval processes.Establish and maintain relationships with customers including utilities, municipals, cooperatives as well as non-utility customers (e.g., C&I, retail energy suppliers).Help steer the company’s pipeline strategy by identifying new opportunities and locations for project development based on observation of changes in market dynamics.Perform regional market and competitive analysis as requested.Other duties as assigned.REQUIREMENTSExperience structuring, preparing, negotiating, and securing PPAs and other offtake agreements for renewable energy.Some degree of knowledge of power markets, robust analytical skills, and high level of attention to detail.Self-starter with the ability to work independently to identify and eventually market to potential customers.Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to cultivate business and personal relationships with customers.Ability to interact professionally and collegially with cross-functional internal teams.Excellent presentation and written communication skills.Ability to travel as needed, i.e., to attend conferences or other travel to support business needs.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEMust be fully authorized to work indefinitely in the US for any company without limitations, restrictions, program requirements, or sponsorship now or in the future.
