06/17/2024Medical Day Stay - REGISTERED NURSERN in medical day stay provides safe and effective nursing care, consistent with the hospital's mission statement, policies and procedures.Scope of patient care services provided encompass all age groups, ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics.Accountabilities include:
Assisting patients in moving as rapidly, uneventfully, safely and effectively as possible through the Medical day stay process.Educating patients on their conditionCollaborating with healthcare teamsPreforming and administering intravenous medications and infusions, Intramuscular injections, and minor outpatient medications.Maintain accurate records of IV placement and patient careCharting accurate patient record via EMR- Meditech ExpanseMonitor patient vitals
REQUIREMENTS:Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Current license within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Registered Nurse;Current certification in ACLS & PALS-CPR cardiopulmonary resuscitation;Two years of perioperative experience preferred but not requiredSelf motativated and Positive attitudeWe offer a competitive salary & benefit package, including:low cost health insurance with no deductibles when using HMC servicesdental and vision insurancefree disability and life insurance403(b) planUp to $7000 in degree/tuition reimbursement
