Wellness Director

(LVN)

to join our team. The ideal candidate has significant experience hiring, scheduling, and training the non-certified care staff. They understand the desire for care staff to be customer service driven and have a servant heart.The Wellness Director is responsible for the oversight of the resident care of the campus. They will assess and monitor systems to ensure a quality delivery of services. This role is responsible for the management of health and well-being of the residents within the community.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesRegular attendance of stand-up meetingsHiring, supervising, and training Resident AssistantsDaily review of Electronic Medication Record (EMAR) and ensure that dashboards remain clearCreate and distribute out of med reports for the campusCare coordination for residents of the communityDaily review of electronic record of care (POC) for campus. Distribute unconfirmed tasks and reconcile for the Executive Director and House Supervisor.Weekly new resident check-in. This includes seeing the resident, ensuring that POC is up and running and all medications are accurate and stockedNew Resident audit within 7 days of the physical move-inProvide support for the Executive Director in regards to at-risk care services for residentsCreate and distribute at-risk reports for care services on the campus on a weekly basisConduct TB Tests for new Team Members and/or ResidentsMonthly resident change of condition assessments and update POC based on the residents' needsAnnual Resident Assessments, POC, and updated Service PlansDevelop and maintain an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of the highest quality of care for our seniorsClinical quality assurance and regulatory complianceFollows all applicable Mustang Creek Estates community, state, and federal rules and regulationsOther duties and responsibilities as assignedQualificationsMust possess and maintain a valid Texas state nursing license (LVN or RN)Reside within a 30-minute or less commute to the Keller campusMinimum of 3 years relevant experience, preferably have an Assisted Living/Memory Care backgroundAbility to read, write, and speak English fluentlyGood organizational skills and time managementStrong computer skills (Preferred Microsoft Suite, Outlook, and Eldermark)Must have a valid Texas Drivers’ License and ability to maintain state insurance coverageExcellent customer service skills with a strong focus on hospitalityAbility to act in a resident’s best interestAbility to act and supervise in a professional and courteous mannerMust have excellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to follow MCE policies and proceduresAbility to attain Mustang Creek Estates Team Member CharacteristicsPatience | Joy in Service | Team Oriented | Responsible | FlexibleIf you possess the above characteristics, we encourage you to apply with an updated resume and look forward to speaking with you soon.
