The Customer requires a software quality assurance engineering for mobile app, mobile emulator, and software application testing which supports our cyber capabilities. The Software Test Engineer will participate in software testing, creation and implementation of test strategies, plans, and automated test scripts. The Software Test Engineer will execute and track status of tests throughout the lifecycle of a sprint and work closely with technical experts to assess bugs and anomalies and determine corrective action, if appropriate. Must have aptitude and attitude to tackle unsolved technical challenges and capable of working in a fast-paced development environment with little assistance.WORK REQUIREMENTS:

The Software Test Engineer shall test mobile (Android) and web (Linux, Windows) applications, find bugs, report them, and track resolution. The Software Test Engineer shall participate in software testing, creation and implementation of test strategies, plans, and automated test scripts. The Software Test Engineer shall create and maintain test plans based on functional requirements and user interface specifications. The Software Test Engineer shall prepare and publish test results and reports using Jira and Confluence. The Software Test Engineer shall collaborate with a cross-functional team including software developers, database admins, server admins, and managers to resolve issues. The Software Test Engineer shall work with technical experts to assess bugs and anomalies and determine corrective action.Qualifications

Required Skills:

Demonstrated experience in software quality assurance and applications testing.Demonstrated experience testing Android applications on an emulator.Demonstrated experience testing applications in Windows and Linux environments.Demonstrated experience using the following operating systems - Linux, Windows, and Android.Demonstrated experience designing, executing, and maintaining manual and automated functional, integration, and regression testing documentation.Demonstrated experience building test cases based on use case development methodologies.Demonstrated experience developing automated test scripts and using a test automation framework.Demonstrated experience with analyzing and reporting test results, defects, and working with developers to resolve defects.Demonstrated experience resolving technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation.Desired Skills:
