WHAT WE DO
Our Clinical Support program supports programs within that fall under our mental health and substance use disorder departments. The Clinical Support team provides support to ReDiscover employees and is focused on providing direction and customer services to our employees and clients in the assigned locations.
At ReDiscover, while every day is different, a typical day may include the following roles and responsibilities:
Responsible for the development, organization, implementation, management, and evaluation of assigned program services and the direct supervision of nursing managers and assigned nursing staff.
Promotes the development of integrated primary and behavioral health services to better address the needs of individuals with mental health and substance use disorder conditions, including medication assisted treatment for opioid use.
Assures compliance with standards, regulations, and laws and works with other Management staff to ensure the financial viability of assigned service areas as well as works cooperatively with other staff to ensure that the services provided are of the highest quality, accessible in a timely fashion and produce positive outcomes for those we serve.
Provides feedback and reports to appropriate management staff and, as appropriate, to funding sources.
Actively participates in a variety of cross-functional teams and performance improvement initiatives through the agency.
Rotating 24-hour coverage on-call.
Provides a welcoming approach towards all clients, visitors, and guests from a trauma-informed approach.
We are focused on your development and will spend time helping you continue to grow as a Director of Nursing. However, here are some things that you will need prior to starting with ReDiscover:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing program.
Active Missouri license as a Registered Nurse.
Three (3) years of experience in a supervisory and management role is strongly preferred.
Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience in a mental health or substance use disorder setting.
Excellent customer service skills with a recovery focus.
Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
Intermediate computer skills in typing/keyboarding, Microsoft Word and Excel programs as well as GSuite.
