Senior Architect
to join our team of experts in delivering cutting-edge solutions to our clients. You will play a pivotal role in designing and shaping the future of higher education, K-12, healthcare, governmental, and general commercial markets. You will work closely with our clients, engineering teams, and other professionals to ensure that projects meet and exceed industry standards. If you are a registered architect with a passion for cutting-edge technology, your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the quality, compliance, and innovation of our designs.Responsibilities
This position is a
hybrid model
that will require commuting to our
Atlanta, GA
office.Lead the architectural design and planning for projects within the higher education, K-12, healthcare, governmental, and general commercial markets.Conduct comprehensive code analysis and ensure strict adherence to industry standards and regulations.Oversee code conformance, ensuring that all designs meet or exceed established guidelines.Oversee and participate in peer reviews to maintain high-quality architectural standards.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, project managers, and clients, to develop innovative and practical architectural solutions.Prepare and present project proposals, design concepts, and progress updates to clients and stakeholders.Provide guidance and mentorship to junior architects and team members.Stay up-to-date with changes in building codes, regulations, and industry trends, and ensure project compliance.Perform field verifications/site walks to identify, verify, resolve, and incorporate solutions into design packages. May troubleshoot design problems in the field during construction.Qualifications
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited architectural program.A Registered Architect (RA) license in good standing with 8+ years of relevant experience.The ability to lead a project team and manage the workload of multiple projects of varying complexity.Proven experience in code analysis and understanding of building codes and regulations (such as egress, fire-resistant assemblies, occupancy, and building types).Proficiency in relevant design software and tools, such as Revit and AutoCAD.Experience performing field verifications and site walks to identify, verify, resolve, and incorporate solutions into design packages. Ability to troubleshoot design problems in the field.Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000/year depending on location, education, experience, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, 401K retirement savings plan (with company matching), opportunities for professional development and training, generous PTO & paid holidays.
