Join a vital team at one of the world's most renowned financial institutions.As a Cybersecurity Architect III at JPMorgan Chase within the Cybersecurity and Technology Controls, Chase Consumer & Community Banking team, you serve as a seasoned member of a team that works to deliver high-quality cybersecurity architecture solutions for various software applications and platforms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams of architects to implement technology solutions and communicate risk and mitigation options using best practices in support of the firm’s business objectives.Job ResponsibilitiesIndependently perform analysis and report against security risks to protect data, applications, and infrastructure using modern tools.Conduct reviews on existing security controls with minimal oversight.Identify gaps in network architecture as defined by Senior Security Architects and create detailed documentation of threats and mitigations for small software applications with few to no missing security threats.Assist with providing technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors.Contribute to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Secure Software Development Life Cycle.Work collaboratively with product, technology, and business colleagues on an ongoing basis for business-as-usual audit and regulatory engagements, risk activities, and project initiatives.Add to team culture of equity and respect.Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and SkillsFormal training or certification in Cybersecurity Architecture concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.Experience creating cybersecurity solutions based on existing security parameters.Ability to evaluate current cybersecurity technologies to recommend ways to optimize architecture.Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.Proficient in coding in one or more languages such as Python or Java.Solid understanding and experience designing and implementing cloud services (e.g., IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, etc.) offered from public cloud service providers such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google, etc.Strong working knowledge of information and network security, IT risk management, and architectural concepts and patterns.Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as continuous integration and delivery, application resiliency, and security.Exposure to cloud technologies.Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and SkillsCertification in Public Cloud Technology from one of the major Cloud Service Providers such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Architect, or Google Cloud Architect.Experience in financial services consumer businesses such as Mortgages, Cards, or Digital.ABOUT USJPMorgan Chase & Co., one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses, and many of the world’s most prominent corporate, institutional, and government clients under the J.P.
