Job: Senior Accountant–Accounting & Tax

Our client, a mid-size defense contractor in Herndon, VA, seeks a Senior Accountant or Manager to oversee accounting and tax coordination with its outside tax service providers. Role is a individual contributor role working with accounting and finance teams. Responsibilities include: gathering data to support tax preparation and reporting by external service providers, processing tax payments, conducting general tax research, responding to requests and notices, audit support, and serving as tax liaison with third parties.Ideal candidate has a minimum of 3+ years’ experience in the accounting and/or tax arena.
