CA Architects is seeking an aspiring architect who is interested in learning about the architecture profession leading to a track for licensure as an Architect. You will be exposed to all aspects of running a design-oriented architecture firm and requires a dynamic, energetic designer who thrives in a team-based environment. Working remotely 2-3 days a week is acceptable if skillsets reflect an ability to work efficiently and effectively with the team in general.
Essential Duties:
· Assist with Project Support, this may include:
· Project Research, including materials, samples, etc and coordination with Product Reps
· Preparing Marketing Materials: Adobe Suite – In Design, PS, etc. for RFP/RFQ
· Website maintenance (rudimentary – editing/photo insertion)
· CAD/Revit drafting as directed (working knowledge of AutoCAD/Revit)
· Other duties as assigned, including ability to travel
Qualifications
· 4 year college degree required
· A passion for architecture and design
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Suite (In Design, PS, etc).
· Proficiency with Sketch-up or other modeling programs
· Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit is required
· Attention to detail, exceptional follow through and organizational skills
· Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize, plan and use time efficiently, and handle complex and multiple projects
· Ability to work as part of a team
· Ability to maintain the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality
