We are committed to supporting your success in both your professional and personal lives.Position OverviewWe are seeking a Network Engineer who will be responsible for transport network design and engineering, network routing protocols, and advanced virtual networking technologies in a timely and effective manner.ResponsibilitiesPerforming upgrades and performing routine network operations and maintenance (O&M).Identifying and implementing INFOSEC and COMSEC security requirements for the network.Complex configuration management techniques and requirements for managing network systems.Network operating and maintenance concepts and methods used to troubleshoot network problems for LAN, WAN, VPN, SD-WAN, and VoIP.Cisco IOS, including switching, routing, segment routing and other technologies.Radio Frequency (RF) and spectrum engineering.Optical networking technology and engineering.Satellite communications engineering.Required QualificationsActive TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.Experience in network/cloud/virtual environment engineering or a related role.Solid understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and security technologies.Preferred QualificationsRelevant certifications such as CCNA or CCNP are preferred.Company EEO StatementAccessibility/Accommodation: If because of a medical condition or disability you need a reasonable accommodation for any part of the employment process, please send an e-mail to staffing@us.QinetiQ.com or call (540) 658-2720 Opt. 4 and let us know the nature of your request and contact information.QinetiQ US is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
