Opportunity to serve nursing homes located around the Monroe, LA area. Pay is $750-$1000 per day, plus 20k sign on bonus! This is a great opportunity for an optometrist living in the area to work as many days per week as they would like (1 to 5 days) with a geriatric population providing routine, acute, and chronic eye disease care.Responsibilities:Conduct eye exams using mobile optometric equipment and general diagnostic interpretation.Diagnose and treat ocular disease.Prescribe, fit, and adjust eyeglasses.Recommend appropriate patient follow-up and care options.Practice handles all scheduling and billing.
