HII–Mission Technologies is seeking a Computer Security Analyst in Doral, FL who will design, test, and implement state–of–the–art secure operating systems, networks, and database products. This position supports US Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) operations, planning, engagements, and security cooperation in its assigned Area of Responsibility (AOR), which includes Central America, South America, and the Caribbean Sea.What You Will Do
Designs, tests, and implements secure operating systems, networks, and database products.Conducts risk assessments and provides recommendations for application design.Involved in a wide range of security issues including architectures, firewalls, electronic data traffic, and network access.Uses encryption technology, penetration and vulnerability analysis of various security technologies, and information technology security research.May prepare security reports to regulatory agencies.What We Are Looking For
9 years relevant experience with a Bachelor's in related field; 7 years relevant experience with a Master's in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.In-depth knowledge of network and system security principles, protocols, and technologies.Familiarity with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus software, and vulnerability scanners.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Clearance: Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.Preferred Requirements
