The Red Gate Group is seeking a
Full Stack Developer
to support the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA). In this role, you will collaborate with UI/UX designers to create seamless user experiences using Angular and work with back-end developers to build robust web services. Our focus on mentoring, positive code reviews, and continuous learning fosters a team environment dedicated to delivering the best solutions for our customers. Location:
50% Telework, 50% split between Reston, VA and Ft Belvoir, VA
Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI
3+ years of combined experience in any of the following: Developing web applications using JavaScript/Typescript and a related framework (Angular, React, or Vue) including building HTML and CSS
Experience with server-side application development using Java, C#, or Python
Experience with usability analysis, automated testing development (unit and E2E)
Experience with switching between different languages and learning new ones, as necessary
Experience in working closely with software development teams
Experience with Kafka, Kubernetes, Git, Java, JavaScript, Node.Js, SQL, Python, and API Development
Desired Qualifications:
DoD 8570 Compliant Security+ or CISSP Certification prior to starting on contract
Experience with Java Spring Framework
Experience with testing frameworks, including Jasmine, Karma, or Selenium
Experience with Linux scripting in BASH or Perl
Experience with using JavaScript visualization libraries, including D3, Leaflet, and AG Grid
Experience with information security
Experience with Agile/Kanban development methodologies
Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Git, and GitHub/GitLab
Knowledge of standards in JavaScript, JSON, REST, CORS, Web architecture, and HTTP specification
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors / Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field in a reputable institution
Minimum 5 years professional experience in software development
Proficient in backend (optional) and frontend development
Proficient in technologies like ReactJs or Vue
Node.js and frameworks like Express or Hapi (optional)
Experience in mentoring and working with remote teams
Strong analytical and programming skills
Excellent problem solving skills
Good understanding of Computer Science fundamentals
Good understanding of Object oriented programming concepts
Good understanding of web technologies
Quick learner with passion to learn and adapt to new technologies
Excellent verbal and written communications skills and being a team player
Attention to details and striving for perfection
Working in Agile environment
