Connected Health Care, a recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Director of Quality & Risk Management for a client in Carson City, Nevada. This role offers an exciting opportunity with a sign-on bonus! Job Description:Oversee and manage quality improvement and risk management programs.Ensure compliance with CIHQ, CMS, State, and other regulatory standards.Develop and implement quality improvement strategies and action plans.Conduct root cause analysis, cause and effect analysis, and failure mode and effects analysis.Gather, analyze, and interpret complex and diverse data to make informed recommendations.Collaborate with hospital leadership to drive quality improvement initiatives.Provide leadership and mentorship to staff in the Quality & Risk Management department.Education and Certification Requirements:

Bachelors degree in an applicable healthcare or business field.Minimum of five (5) years of acute care hospital experience in quality improvement theories, reporting, and practices.Working knowledge of CIHQ, CMS, State, and other compliance standards.Proven ability to gather, analyze, and make recommendations based on complex and diverse data.Knowledge of techniques such as root cause analysis, cause and effect analysis, and failure mode and effects analysis.Preferred:

Masters degree in an applicable healthcare or business field.Certified Professional Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or Green Belt Six Sigma.State of Nevada Registered Nurse licensure or Interim Permit.Previous leadership experience in a Quality & Risk Management department setting.About Carson City, NV: Carson City, Nevada's capital, offers a rich blend of history, culture, and outdoor activities:
