At MGM Resorts, we seek individuals like YOU to create unique and show-stopping experiences for our guests.THE JOB:As a Senior Computer Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and reinforcing known company IT standards and processes.THE STARTING RATE:$37.50THE DAY-TO-DAY:Trains and mentors Computer Engineer personnel on servers, operating systems, property applications, and automation tools.Monitors the MGM National Harbor Help Desk queues and works cooperatively with the Corporate IT department, National Harbor IT department, and vendors to facilitate correction of incidents and problems.Acts as the property expert on technologies, setting priorities in incident resolution, and executing resolutions.Responsible for driving high priority incident resolution within the set SLA.Administers Data Center systems, servers, and technology projects.Partners with Corporate IT on monitoring backups and other batch jobs and resolving issues as they arise.Installs PC, server, and network hardware/software.Performs troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on PCs, printers, servers, network equipment and other hardware. Installs service releases and performs routine maintenance on desktop applications.Maintains licensing information for all applications and operating systems using an established process.Answers inquiries in person and via telephone, e-mail, and voicemail concerning the use of computer hardware and software.Updates the shift report on a daily basis to include required information updates and to reflect significant activities that occurred during the shift.Promotes and maintains the highest level of customer service to all guests while staying alert to their needs.Responds effectively to guest inquiries related to MGM National Harbor and the National Harbor area providing excellent guest service.Resolves guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise refers the matter to management.
