is looking for a skilled
Senior AWS DevOps Engineer/Team Lead . The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for deploying and maintaining multiple development teams' AWS infrastructure along with utilizing CloudFormation and Ansible to automate the deployment of the entire infrastructure. Additionally, manage all scripts and templates in GitHub utilizing git for version control, assist security with implementing security controls to ensure compliance, and actively monitor servers and infrastructure for issues while setting up and maintaining Jenkins pipelines. The location of this job is
Reston, VA.
Required Skills:
5+ years of relevant experience
Experience managing ELBs and auto-scale groups with AWS EC2.
Experience setting up alarms, dashboards, and alerts with AWS CloudWatch.
Managing files and permissions in AWS S3.
Responsible for operational production support including resolving production system outages and critical security findings that require immediate action.
Experience building IaC with AWS CloudFormation using YAML templates.
Strong Linux troubleshooting skills.
Bash scripting experience.
Able to set up, build, and maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
Experience using Ansible for server automation.
Strong knowledge of git and version controlling IaC in GitHub.
Bachelor's Degree or 8+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
US Citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required.
Desired Skills:
Setting up API Gateway and AWS Lambda functions.
Experience with setting up and managing Kubernetes infrastructure.
Experience working with SQS and SNS.
Experience working with multiple teams liaising with DevOps engineers, management, and customers to ensure work is completed to standards.
Experience working in an Agile work environment on two-week sprints.
AWS Certified.
