Urgent Care Veterinarian – Co-Medical Director and/or PartnerArk Veterinary Hospital & Urgent Care is hiring an experienced full-time Veterinarian to provide comprehensive medical, surgical and urgent care to a variety of animal patients, including cats, dogs, and exotics (reptiles, avians, pocket pets).We are looking for an experienced veterinarian ready to advance their career as a Co-Medical Director and/or Partner in our hospital.The ideal candidate is a strong leader who combines compassion with a proactive attitude. You will be scheduled 4 days per week, typically consisting of three 10-hour shifts and one 6-hour shift. During each 10-hour shift, you'll have a 2-hour lunch break and a 1-hour dinner break, allowing you to see pets for about 7 hours each day (charting/call-backs is built into your day). You will typically work 9am-8pm, 8am-2pm, or 2pm-8pm. We recognize the importance of work/life balance and are open to being flexible and adjusting your schedule to accommodate your needs.A 2:1 staff to doctor ratio.

You will have the support—and respect—you need to be excellent for our patients. We’ve got your back. Currently, we have 6 DVMs, 13 licensed technicians, 4 assistants, and 7 CSRs on our team.All the benefits you deserve—health, dental, vision, retirement—plus

Our PTO policy provides a minimum of 12 days per year. Additionally, for each extra shift you work beyond your regular schedule, you'll

earn an additional PTO day , which can be rolled over to the following year if unused. Additionally, you'll receive designated days specifically for continuing education. As we’re open 7 days a week, including holidays, you'll need to work 2 holidays per year (shorter shifts, 10am-6pm). The schedule is posted in January, and we use a rotating system to avoid assigning major holidays every year.Partnership opportunities through Veterinary Practice Partners (VPP),

We value the well-being of all people and animals and aim to treat everyone with openness, fairness, dignity and compassion.Medical Director Duties:Manages and supervises the operation and maintenance of the hospital.Supervises subordinates engaged in the care of the patients ranging from feeding care to critical care needs.Supervises record maintenance and prepares required reports.Arranges or provides training to all incoming and existing associates.Performs budget administration; assists with development of the operating budget.Oversees and responds to questions, concerns, or complaints from pet owners.
