Position OverviewReporting to the Account Executive, the UI/UX Designer plays a pivotal role in conceptualizing and executing innovative design solutions. The UI/UX Designer will interpret user feedback to optimize product interfaces to increase engagement.
Duties And ResponsibilitiesConduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to understand user needs, behaviors, and preferences.Define user personas, user journeys, and information architecture to inform the design process and ensure a user-centered approach.Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to visualize and communicate design concepts and interactions.Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces that enhance usability, accessibility, and user satisfaction.Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into engaging and effective designs.Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and end users to iterate and refine design solutions throughout the development lifecycle.Stay updated on emerging design trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve design processes and outcomes.QualificationsProficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite.Candidates with active Clearance (MBI preferred) are highly desirable.Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and usability best practices.Experience with responsive design techniques and designing for various devices and screen sizes.Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively communicate design concepts and rationale to cross-functional teams.Attention to detail and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.Knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines to ensure inclusive design practices.Compensation And Working ConditionsCompetitive health and medical benefits package and paid-time offOther internal benefits include access to professional development funds and organizational trainings as availableWorking standard office hours with start and end time flexibility (40 hrs/week).Physical/cognitive demands include use of typical office equipment, prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer/telephone, high degree of concentration and attention to detail;Psychological demands include deadline drive requirements, capacity to organize and prioritize own work, adaptable to change and ability to set and work towards performance and development goals.Basecamp Consulting and Solutions is committed to principles of equity and inclusion.
