is the premier provider of 340B program management technology for hospital health system covered entities and retail contract pharmacy networks.As a Software Engineer, you will engage in product development primarily utilizing C#, Angular, and SQL Server. Working under limited supervision, you will determine and develop solutions to a diverse range of complex problems, applying judgment within established policies and practices. As a member of this expanding team, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of technologies such as Azure Cloud, Databricks, and Snowflake, gaining high visibility within the organization. ResponsibilitiesThis is a hands-on development role with experience in developing enterprise level applications.Lead and participate in technical design discussions that produce high-performance, highly scalable, and resilient software components.Participate in the software development life cycle that takes project from inception to completion through connecting client's needs with applicable state-of-the-art technology solutions to complex problems health care industry.Build and deploy secure solutions utilizing quality standards and software development life cycle processes which include requirement gathering, high level and detailed design, coding, testing and support.Develop enterprise-scale Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) software utilizing SaaS design principles.Adopt a quality-first approach to software development by creating unit tests and automating functional testing whenever possible.Work closely with QA team throughout the development cycle and support performance tuning and testing activity.Work with Product Team in translating business requirements into technical specifications, establish and refine details and requirements of applications, components, enhancements, and defects.Modernize legacy products to use the latest cloud technologies.Perform code reviews with other developers, incorporating security checks.Collaborate closely with DevOps teams to build automated deployment pipelines.Actively participate in Agile Ceremonies Daily Standups/ Sprint Planning/ Refinements / Retrospectives and Sprint demos.Minimum RequirementDegree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.Education4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experienceCritical Skills4+ years of experience in software development in a team environment4+ years of experience with C# /.Net core back-end development4+ years of experience with SQL server 2012 and higher4+ years of experience with frontend development2+ years of experience working with Angular, .NET, Bootstrap, CSS, JSON, JavaScript, HTML.2+ years of experience in building Restful APIs.1+ years of experience working with Microsoft Azure (preferred), Google Cloud Platform, or AWS (IaaS, PaaS, and Services)1 + years of experience working with ADF pipelines and Data Bricks.Demonstrated experience in building microservices utilizing Restful APIs.Demonstrated experience in enabling code to align with a CI/CD process (JIRA, GitHub)Additional SkillsExperience in developing and implementing applications on a cloud platform preferably using Azure.Familiarity with containerization using Docker for app development.Agile MethodologyFront end frameworks such as AngularJIRA/ GitHubExperience with ETL processes.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsWe are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards.
