This role will lead momentous change while working as a team to simplify the complex, manage trade-offs, serve clients and colleagues while having high impact! You will plan, design, set-up, implement, and work with others on system design, configuration, and ongoing support.

What the day will look like:

Lead ServiceNow application architecture within the HR Technology team to deliver services and capabilities based on business needs and requirements, value streams, and the technology landscape. Define ServiceNow standards, roadmaps, integrated technology blueprints, and compliance monitoring.

This is a hands-on role involved in full-scale implementation, project management, change management, requirements and design, process improvement, testing, integration enablement support, and SDLC best practices. Partner on configuration/development across foundational HR ServiceNow modules, including HR-Service Delivery, Supplier Life Cycle Management, and Virtual Agent, while also guiding the development of custom solutions when needed. Partner with Solution Architect(s) to design and architect end-to-end ServiceNow solutions that align with business objectives, ensuring scalability, flexibility, security, and usability. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications and design documents. Be responsible for determining the best approach to the integration of ServiceNow with other systems and applications, documenting interface agreements, and leveraging flat files and APIs to ensure seamless data flow and process automation. Develop and implement test plans to validate the functionality, performance, and security of ServiceNow solutions, troubleshooting issues, and driving resolution. Manage and coordinate testing, deployment, and maintenance of system updates and enhancements across development teams. Keep up to date with the latest ServiceNow releases and updates, evaluating new features and functionalities to optimize and enhance existing solutions.

Skills and experience that will lead to success:

Proven experience as an application architect with successful ServiceNow implementations.

Deep expertise in ServiceNow configuration and support – specifically in the HR and Supplier Management domains.

Ability to design and document the architecture of individual applications/PaaS within the broader HR solution, along with Solution Architect(s) as needed.

Proven deep knowledge of HR configuration and business processes.

Extensive experience in security, data architecture, system architecture, and data integrations.

Ability to positively influence others and to break down organizational silos.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to foster an environment of collaboration and excellence.

6+ years of experience in application or solution architecture and data architecture, working with highly scalable systems.

Extensive experience in the development lifecycle, including configuring/developing ServiceNow, and integration with a solid understanding of Agile development processes including responsibility for enablement features.

Understand core functions of ServiceNow (i.e., Catalog items, Lifecycle events, record producers, etc.).

Foundational understanding of HR operations and compliance.

ServiceNow Certified Application Developer is a plus.

Ability to identify and resolve application-specific issues.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or equivalent years of industry experience.
