Position Summary:

The Cardiovascular Technologist is a member of the Cardiac Cath/ Electrophysiology (EP) team and works alongside the EP Cardiologist or Interventional Cardiologist and Registered Nurse to deliver direct patient care, before, during and after interventional/diagnostic cath lab and EP cases. The incumbent of this position will be able to function in all three roles (scrub, circulator assists, and recorder) in all interventional/diagnostic cath lab cases and be able to function as a scrub and circulator assist in all EP cases and be able to operate the equipment in the cath lab.

Qualifications:

Associate Degree in Health Science (cardiovascular technology, radiologic technology, respiratory therapy, or ultrasound) OR for radiology technologists must have certification and current registration as a radiographer by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist with a current Florida State License as a Certified Radiologic Technologist1 year of cardiac cath / EP lab experience preferredMust be certified as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES), Cardiac Interventional Radiographer (CI), Cardiovascular Interventional Radiographer (CV), or Vascular Interventional Radiographer (VI)

ACLS/PALS/BLS within one year of hire

Shift:

Full-Time, Day shift, Weekend work and call is required.
