We are seeking a Naval Architect/Marine Project Engineer to manage and coordinate multidiscipline engineering activities to support Worley's Offshore Building Group projects domestically and internationally. The successful candidate will ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, cost-effectively, and on schedule, with a focus on offshore building systems.Responsibilities:

Project Management:

Oversee and coordinate all engineering functions related to offshore building systems. Ensure the project is delivered efficiently, cost-effectively, and in alignment with safety standards.Design and Analysis:

Prepare detailed analyses, designs, and project deliverables including drawings, specifications, and reports specifically for offshore building systems. Ensure designs meet industry standards, regulatory codes, classification societies rules, and project specifications.Resource Allocation:

Prioritize project tasks and allocate resources based on project needs and availability. Manage and direct engineering personnel to achieve project goals effectively.Cost and Scope Management:

Aid in development and review project estimates/budgets, schedule, status reporting, and ensure they align with the defined scope of work. Manage all project activities from registration through to completion.Project Supervision:

Supervise individual projects through the designated engineering team, ensuring adherence to project plans and schedules. Provide leadership and motivation to engineering staff.Resource Coordination:

Ensure the project team has the necessary resources to perform their objectives and work closely with the Engineering Managers during both the design and procurement phases of the projects.Reporting and Communication:

Report on project progress and achievements in detail to the Project Manager. Provide updates and insights on any issues or changes affecting the project.Commissioning Support:

Assist with the commissioning phase of projects if required, ensuring a smooth transition from construction to operational status.Quality Assurance:

Adhere to quality assurance systems and guidelines relevant to marine and offshore engineering projects. Ensure all work complies with industry standards and regulatory requirements.Safety Management:

Maintain a strong focus on personal safety and safe working practices. Understand and follow Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) procedures to ensure a safe working environment.What you will bring:

Technical/Industry Experience and Qualifications Requirements:

5 to 10 years work experience in offshore or marine industry.Proven ability to manage complex engineering projects and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.Strong knowledge of marine and offshore design principles, regulations, and standards.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet project deadlines.Education - Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:

Required:Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.Preferred:Related engineering discipline.Moving forward together:
