Kobo Products, Inc. located in South Plainfield, NJ is seeking an organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented Senior Applications Lab Chemist to join our team.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Bioscience, or Biology required
Strong experience working with colors required
5+ yrs. experience in
formulating color cosmetics
including lipsticks, foundation, pressed and loose powder; knowledge of skin care, sun care, and hair care products is a plus.
Knowledge of cosmetic regulations and safety required
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication/presentation and multi-tasking skills required
Excellent computer skills required
Experience overseeing direct reports required
Some domestic and international travel required to support tradeshows and customer visits (post ending of COVID safety restrictions)
Responsibilities Include:
Help to develop new raw materials for unique products
Train and assist technicians, chemists, and temporary personnel on formulating cosmetic products including all colored cosmetics, hair care, sun care and personal care as necessary.
