Job Overview:Our client is seeking an experienced Cyber Security and Systems Architect to join their team in Chantilly, VA. In this role, you will provide specialized support in cyber security and systems architecture, focusing on Assessment and Accreditation (A&A) processes, security engineering, and DevSecOps. The position involves working closely with a Sponsor to guide multiple IT systems through the A&A processes while delivering complex technical solutions in a dynamic environment.Key Responsibilities:Assessment & Accreditation (A&A) : Lead and assist in shepherding multiple IT systems through the A&A processes, ensuring compliance with information assurance policies and regulations.Security Accreditation : Demonstrate expertise in leading security accreditation efforts for enterprise systems, ensuring all security protocols are rigorously adhered to.Security Engineering : Engage in both security and network engineering activities, providing innovative solutions to safeguard system integrity.Test Analysis & Documentation : Analyze and document test results, offering detailed assessments and actionable recommendations.Risk Management : Utilize your experience with Risk Management Framework to assess systems against security policies, prioritizing remediation activities.Cyber Security Implementation : Implement and design comprehensive cyber security strategies that align with customer workflows and regulatory standards.Technical Solutions Delivery : Provide complex technical solutions in a fluid operating environment, including access management, encryption, process improvements, and organizational change recommendations.Threat Analysis : Analyze security threats and exploits, determining the best course of action and prioritizing remediation efforts.Network Design & Security Architecture : Offer expertise in network design and security architecture, identifying security gaps, and proposing effective solutions.Vulnerability Management : Assess and improve patch management, vulnerability management, provisioning, and terrain management processes.Communication : Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.Qualifications:Experience : Extensive experience in cyber security and systems architecture, particularly in A&A processes, security engineering, and DevSecOps.Security Accreditation : Proven track record in leading security accreditation efforts for enterprise systems.Network & Security Engineering : Strong background in network design, security engineering, and security architecture.Risk Management Framework : Experience with customer A&A workflow and Risk Management Framework.Technical Communication : Ability to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences, including senior leaders.Optional Skills:Offensive security practices.Vulnerability scanning tools.Certifications:Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).Additional Requirements:Security Clearance : This position requires an active TS/SCI with Full-Scope Polygraph.Seniority Level:
