The SOC Emulation team is looking for a strong engineer to join our team focusing on the creation, deployment, and support of advanced emulation environments. In this highly visible role, you will be at the center of a chip design effort collaborating with all disciplines, with a critical impact on getting functional products to millions of customers quickly.DescriptionAs a member of the team, you will be involved in:SoC bringup on emulation, root cause failing SoC/Processor tests and emulator environment issues.Support multiple Emulation environments using the latest emulation techniques:C/C++ DPI Transactors, SV assertions, Coverage, Power Estimation, SpeedBridges, Accelerated UVM TestbenchesClose collaboration with Design, DV, Power, Silicon Validation, Performance, and Software teams. Strong design, debug, communication, and teamwork skills are essential.Work with the top tier emulation vendors to improve capabilities, debug issues:Emulation experience on any/all available platforms (Palladium, Protium, Veloce, or Zebu, EP) including design bringup, build flow, debug, performance, and throughput tuning.Experience with Verilog, VHDL design.Experience with C/C++, DPI and System Verilog.Experience writing scripts using any languages (Perl, Python, Makefile).Experience with waveform debug tools, Verdi/SimVision.Preferred QualificationsExperience with UVM verification environments.Design verification, DFT, TestBench modeling experience.Knowledge of communication/interface protocols, like (PCIE, USB), DDR, SPI.Strong communication skills and ability to work as a team.Education & ExperienceBachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience.Additional RequirementsApple is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity.
