The Interventional Glaucoma Manager promotes, grows and supports activity and the development of

direct selective laser trabeculoplasty

for glaucoma in ophthalmology clinics. The position will be responsible for the delivery of expert consultation and training regarding Alcon's

direct selective laser trabeculoplasty

(DSLT) for glaucoma. Specifically, the position will

evolve the clinic workflow

while training Ophthalmologists, technicians and staff and identifying patients for such procedure. Also, the Interventional Glaucoma Manager will

develop and maintain relationships with Ophthalmologists, technicians, staff, and administrators

and represent the Alcon Surgical Glaucoma portfolio to enable the best possible patient outcomes and achieve quota targets in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.Primary Responsibilities:Achieve assigned sales quota annuallyUtilize marketing tools and resources to establish a concentrated plan for growth for glaucoma treatments with Ophthalmologists, technicians, and staff and their use of Alcon's direct selective laser trabeculoplastyPlan and successfully complete equipment demo presentations with targeted clinics, Ophthalmologist, technicians and staffCoordinate and lead educational presentations with Ophthalmologist, technicians, and staff regarding

direct selective laser trabeculoplastyWork synergistically with all other Alcon sales personnel in efforts to strengthen Alcon portfolioDemonstrate an independent and consultative value-based sales approach to selling advanced technology clinic equipment, and patient education programsCoordinate with Surgical Glaucoma Manager and Clinical Application Specialists for proficiency trainingSupport key decision makers and establish communication with Ophthalmologists, technicians, and staff in clinic settings to support patient outcomesAttend

direct selective laser trabeculoplasty

treatment procedures and demonstrate strong technical and clinical abilities to discuss and perform product in-servicesCollaborate with the entire Alcon Surgical Glaucoma team to enhance and further the entire Alcon Surgical Glaucoma PortfolioEvolve Interventional Glaucoma with Ophthalmologists, technicians, and staff and associate to Alcon Surgical Glaucoma PortfolioDemonstrate scientific/clinical/technical differentiation, presentation skills, team-centered approach, and drive resultsWhat you will bring to Alcon:Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs; Assoc.+6 yrs; M.S.)The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English2 Years of Proven ExperienceHow you can thrive at Alcon:Manage your own workload and schedule while hitting your set targetsBalance experiencing new environments and working autonomously in a remote sales environmentTerritory:
