Responsibilities

The Mobility and Intune System Administrator is responsible for the administration, configuration, and support of enterprise mobility management solutions, primarily focusing on Microsoft Intune. This role involves managing mobile devices, ensuring secure access to Coast Guard resources, and deploying applications and updates efficiently. The administrator will collaborate with various departments to ensure that mobile solutions meet the organization's security and productivity needs.Job Responsibilities:Configure and manage Microsoft Intune for device management, application deployment, and policy enforcement.Monitor and maintain the Intune environment, ensuring its optimal performance and availability.Develop and implement Intune policies for mobile devices, including iOS, Android, and Windows platforms.Understand and comply with Change Enablement processes for client environments.Administer the enterprise mobile device management (MDM) solution, ensuring all mobile devices comply with organizational policies.Enroll devices into MDM and troubleshoot enrollment issues.Manage device lifecycles, including provisioning, maintenance, and decommissioning.Implement and manage security policies for mobile devices, including encryption, remote wipe, and password policies.Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements for mobile device usage.Monitor and respond to security incidents related to mobile devices.Deploy and manage mobile applications via Intune, including configuring app protection policies.Ensure that all applications are updated and functioning correctly on mobile devices.Provide technical support for users experiencing issues with mobile devices or Intune services.Conduct training sessions for users on how to use mobile devices securely and efficiently.Develop and maintain user documentation for mobile device usage and Intune policies.Collaborate with IT teams to integrate Intune with other systems, such as Azure AD, Office 365, and other third-party applications.Communicate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on mobility solutions.Participate in the evaluation and testing of new mobility technologies.Qualifications

Skills:Proficiency in configuring and managing Microsoft Intune and other MDM solutions.Knowledge of mobile security practices and regulatory compliance requirements.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Education/Experience:Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT with BS/BA or 12 years with a HS Diploma.Minimum 3 years focus on mobility management and Microsoft Intune.Experience with mobile device management (MDM) solutions, particularly Microsoft Intune.Familiarity with Azure Active Directory, Office 365, and other Microsoft cloud technologies.Experience with mobile operating systems (iOS, Android, Windows).CompTIA Security+ certification.ITILv4 Foundations certification preferred.Secret Clearance.Target Salary Range

$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
