Qualis LLC is seeking a Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to lead upcoming Army work in Warren, MI. This position is hiring multiple candidates.Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor’s of Science degree from an ABET accredited program in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, or Computer Science from a college or university.One of the following certifications: CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP+) CE, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISS) (or Associate), or Cybersecurity Service Providers (CSSLP).Preferred additional certifications: CISSP-Information Systems Security Architecture Professional (ISSAP), CISSP-Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP), or Comprehensive Cyber Security (CCS).A Master's degree in any of the preceding disciplines may be substituted for one year of general experience.A minimum of five years experience in one or a combination of the following areas with respect to DoD weapon system acquisition:Cyber resiliency and cyber survivability endorsement processCross Domain Solutions (CDS) and Raise The Bar (RTB) complianceRisk Management Framework (RMF)Authority to operate (ATO) and interim authorization to test (IATT)Lab-based security assessments (LBSA) and site-based security assessment (SBSA)Coordination with Army Cross Domain Management Office (ACDMO), DoD Security/Cybersecurity Authorization Working Group (DSAWG), and Information Systems Risk Management Committee (ISRMC)Architecting and designing embedded systems and software with a security focusPerforming threat modeling and risk assessment activities based on system or system of systems architecture/designPerforming hardware and software assurance activitiesSoftware and systems engineering experienceExperience or knowledge with pen testing processes/methodologies
