lives, as well.The OpportunityThe Licensed Caregiver - LPN is part of the Health & Wellness Team responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents under the supervision of registered nurses and healthcare professionals.What You'll DoESSENTIAL DUTIES:Helping residents with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and dressingSupporting residents with medicationRepositioning residents in bed and escorting them around the communityToileting, incontinent careTake vital signs, such as blood pressure, heart rate and pulseObserve and report on residents' health, escalating any problems efficiently and effectivelyDetail daily reports to Nurse, or designated charge person, at end of shiftProvide emotional support and serve as a source of comfort for residents and their loved onesRecognize abnormal changes in body functioning and report to a supervisorPerform nursing assessments, including vital signs monitoring, physical examinations, and health status evaluations, to identify and address resident needs promptlyProvide wound care and other nursing interventions as directed by the registered nurse or healthcare provider, following applicable state regulations, established protocols and infection control practicesResponsibilities include customer service, safety, resident care, and communicationWhat You'll BringPOSITION REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:Must be at least 18 years of ageMust pass State and Company criminal background/drug screensDemonstrates effective time management skillsHigh school graduate or equivalentMust have a valid, unrestricted nursing license in the stateCurrent CPR certificationMaintain CEU requirementsRead, write, speak and understand the English languageMake independent decisions when circumstances warrant such actionInterpret and implement written or oral policies, procedures, and instructionsStaff supervisionAssessment and resident care skillsMedication management principles and practiceWritten and verbal communication skillsWe Got You
