ICU Intensivist Medical Director

to lead our team of dedicated critical care providers at St. Peters Hospital in Albany and Samaritan Hospital in Troy, NY. The successful candidate will oversee administrative duties while actively participating in clinical care, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient services.Responsibilities:Allocate 0.40 FTE to administrative duties, including workflow implementation, quality metric determination, handling of inquiries, and conducting quality case reviews.Collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to report on administrative matters and implement strategic initiatives.Provide direct clinical care for 0.60 FTE in the ICU setting.Foster a culture of excellence in patient care, safety, and clinical outcomes.Lead quality improvement efforts and participate in performance reviews.Opportunity Details:Closed ICU model at both St. Peters Hospital and Samaritan Hospital.Collaborate with a robust team of critical care providers within Pulmonary and Critical Care Services.Access to full sub-specialty support within St. Peters Health Partners.Requirements:Valid New York State (NYS) medical license.DEA registration.Board Certification in Critical Care required.Minimum of 1 year of experience as an ICU Medical Director.RECRUITMENT PACKAGESt. Peters Health Partners offers a comprehensive salary and compensation package that includes:Starting Bonus and Competitive salary with incentivesCompensation is $495,000Work-life balance with a manageable administrative workloadExcellent benefits; including health/vision/dental insurancesPaid malpractice, including post-SPHP employment tail coverageCME time & expense allowancePaid time away from the practiceRetirement savings program with employer matching programContact InformationPlease click Apply to submit your CV!
