As a
Director of Quality Management
you will:
Responsible for planning and implementing the performance improvement program to meet the needs of the hospital.
Provide education to medical staff, hospital staff, and Governing Body.
Facilitate performance improvement activities and CQI activities throughout the hospital.
Act as a resource person to the administrative team, department managers, and medical staff.
Perform clinical risk management functions.
Assist department managers with preparation for medical staff committees.
Have oversight responsibility for all regulatory body surveys, such as The Joint Commission, State Licensing Review, HCFA (CMS) Validation surveys.
Maintain oversight responsibility for all performance improvement activities conducted throughout the hospital.
Qualifications
As a
Director of Quality Management
you will have:
Doctoral Level Psychologist, Master’s Degree in a healthcare-related field preferred, or a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with RN.
Independent Practice Scope License or RN; Certified Professional Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) certification preferred.
Minimum three years’ experience in Quality and/or Risk Management in a psychiatric hospital or managed care Clinical, Quality setting.
