Helpet Veterinary Center, a privately owned General Practice in Miami, is looking for an Associate Veterinarian.Are you a dedicated veterinarian looking to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and state-of-the-art environment? Our hospital in Miami is seeking a talented veterinarian to join our dynamic team.We are a modern, high-quality veterinary center committed to providing exceptional care for our patients. Our facility is equipped with the latest technology, and our team is passionate about delivering the best possible medical and surgical services.Helpet Veterinary Center was established 8 years ago and is constantly growing. At Helpet, we work hard but enjoy our job. No drama is allowed. Teamwork and accountability allow us to help each other instead of relying on others' work. We are located in the heart of Miami Midtown and Wynwood with a great clientele; young professionals with either disposable income or pet insurance, which allows us to practice the highest standard of medicine and surgery. We have in-house bloodwork and reference lab options, dental digital x-rays, full-body digital x-rays (all read by a radiologist), and in-house ultrasound. We have a full surgery suite with Electrocautery and LigaSure Device that we use even for our routine spays for the pets’ benefit and doctors’ peace of mind. Adding laparoscopic surgery and flexible endoscopy this fall. Traveling internal medicine and surgeons are available for complicated cases, and we maintain great relationships with specialists in the area for consults.What makes us different? We are open only Monday through Friday. No weekend or overnight duty, which allows for family time or just to enjoy what Miami has to offer. Candidates will work only 4 days per week. We have great relationships with local ER/Referral hospitals for hospitalizations and other cases. A staff to DVM ratio of at least 2:1. We are paperless and use cloud-based software on iMac computers and iPads.The ideal candidate is a US licensed veterinarian with 3 years of clinical experience in the United States, with an interest in wellness and medicine. Must be an excellent clinician practicing evidence-based medicine. Interest in surgery and dentistry is a plus but not required if not comfortable. The owner is willing and excited about mentorship. Good communication skills and a positive attitude are a must and not negotiable in our Helpet culture. Due to our client demographic, a doctor fluent in English and Spanish is preferred. Guaranteed base salary plus production could reach $125-250K/year in compensation. *No Negative Accrual. Licenses and some memberships paid.
