Job Description:
As the Lead React Native Developer, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire mobile app development lifecycle, from concept to deployment. You’ll lead a team of developers, collaborate with project managers and designers, and ensure that our mobile solutions are innovative, scalable, and user-friendly. This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in React Native development who enjoys leading a team and working on diverse, challenging projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of React Native mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, project managers, and backend developers, to deliver high-quality solutions.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level developers.Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development best practices.Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in mobile development.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues throughout the development process.Communicate effectively with clients to understand their business requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.Help shape the mobile strategy for our clients and provide input on technology decisions.
Requirements:
8+ years of mobile development experience, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in React Native.Proven track record of building and deploying high-performance mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms.Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and experience with modern front-end development tools.Familiarity with native build tools such as Xcode, Android Studio, Gradle, and Swift/Java development.Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.Strong understanding of mobile app architecture, design patterns, and best practices.Excellent leadership and team management skills.Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Must be located in Atlanta, Georgia.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps.Knowledge of app store submission processes and guidelines.Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, Firebase, or Google Cloud.Experience working in a consultancy or agency environment.Prior experience leading distributed or remote teams.
