Reporting to The Director of Finance and Accounting HF US, the Sr. Staff Accountant will assist with overseeing the financial and accounting operations and ensure timely and accurate recording of all financial transactions. Additionally, the position will be a direct contributor supporting system and process improvement across the organization.Key Responsibilities

Revenue Accounting:

Ensures daily invoices are processed and sent to customers for all revenue streamsPosting of daily cash receipts from all sourcesPartners with Sales and Order Processing

Concur Administration:

Performs accounting approval across all expense reports for final payAdministers changes to Concur infrastructure including cost center assignmentEnhances system by proposing improvements and changes

Prepares and files Sales & Use Tax Returns where applicable and drives the implementation of automated system (Avalara)Assists with processing of accounts payable invoices and related payment as needed in support of Staff AccountantAssists with month end close including Journal Entry preparation through financial analysisEnsures compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policiesDevelops policies and procedures to streamline accounting processes, automate manual tasks, and enhance operational efficiencyConducts in-depth financial analysis around month/quarter/year end results identifying trends and where applicable corrective actionsFacilitates risk assessments and monitors control issues to safeguard financial integrity and mitigate risksCollaborates with multiple departments across the organization to provide financial insights and support strategic initiativesCollaborates with parent company to support requests and provide status updatesAssists with budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic objectivesCollaborates with outside auditors on interim and year-end financial audits including preparation of schedulesAssists with the accuracy and timeliness of both internal and external reporting requirementsAssists with tax related mattersExperience And Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance5+ years' experience in applicable areas with progressive increased responsibilityProven ability to evaluate and implement process and system improvements resulting in elimination of manual process and enhanced operational efficiencyDemonstrated ability to drive completion of day-to-day transactional activity through the close processExperience in financial analysis and reportingWorking Conditions/Physical & Mental Demands
