The Member Services Analyst must be very organized with attention to detail and have strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work well with others and promote collaboration and communication within the division. This position reports directly to the Assistant Vice President of Alumni Services with project work direction from the Lead Alumni Communications and Outreach Officer.Overall, the Member Services Analyst supports the goals of Alumni Relations and the mission of the Sacramento State Alumni Association, to inspire belonging, create lifelong connections, and amplify pride as a Hornet family through community engagement, communication, and celebration.FLSA : Exempt (Not eligible for overtime compensation)Anticipated Hiring Range : Anticipated hiring at the minimum of the classification range ($4,598 per month)CSU Classification Salary Range : $4,598 per month - $8,318 per monthWork Hours : Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Partial telework schedule (1 work from home day per week) may be available after training period, subject to management approval.Department InformationOperating as an interdependent alumni organization, Alumni Relations (a campus department) and the Sacramento State Alumni Association (a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization), our mission is to connect, engage and celebrate the alumni, students and friends of Sacramento State while building lifelong relationships that support the future of our University.To accomplish this, we engage volunteer leaders through the Alumni Association Board of Directors, Board Committees, and Alumni Chapters and Networks, in encouraging philanthropic support, supporting the mission of the University and overall striving to create an inclusive community of engaged alumni.We are responsible for planning and funding engagement programs, alumni recognition/awards events, mixers, reunions, recent graduate activities, student engagement, and alumni communications. In addition to these engagement opportunities, we award scholarships, manage and maintain the Leslie & Anita Harper Alumni Center, solicit programmatic sponsorships and scholarship donations, and support Alumni Association Membership.Minimum QualificationsEntry to this classification requires general knowledge and skills in the applicable administrative and/or program field with a foundational knowledge of public administration principles, practices, and methods.
