ExemptJob Overview:We are looking for a talented DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our development and deployment processes, enhancing our infrastructure, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our systems. You will collaborate closely with development teams, infrastructure teams, and other stakeholders to streamline workflows and automate processes.Job Responsibilities:Design, build, and maintain efficient and scalable CI/CD pipelines to facilitate rapid deployment of software updates using Git, GitHub Actions, and GitHub CLI.Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation will be advantageous.Monitor and enhance system performance, reliability, and availability through proactive monitoring and troubleshooting.Collaborate with development teams to optimize application architecture for performance and scalability.Automate routine tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.Implement and maintain containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker.Ensure security best practices are followed across all aspects of DevOps processes and infrastructure.Participate in on-call rotation and respond to incidents to ensure system availability and uptime.Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to existing processes and technologies.Job Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with a strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure management.Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.Hands-on experience in using AWS services like SQS, SNS, Lambda, API Gateway, Secrets Manager, Parameter Store, etc. in distributed applications.Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Spring Framework, etc.Strong experience with Python scripting languages.Proficiency with Git, GitHub CLI, and GitHub Actions.Hands-on experience with containerization tools (e.g., Docker) & AWS services like ECR, AWS Fargate & ECS.Solid understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.Company Benefits:Medical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceFlexible Spending AccountHealth Savings Account401(k) Plan with Company MatchCompany-paid Short-Term and Long-Term DisabilityCompany-paid Life InsurancePaid Holidays and VacationEmployee Referral ProgramEmployee Assistance ProgramWellness ProgramsPaid Community Service OpportunitiesTuition ReimbursementOngoing Training & Personal DevelopmentAnd More!About Safe-Guard Products International:Safe-Guard serves Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), top retailers, and independent agents in the automotive finance and insurance industry with the leading Protection Products Platform.
