assisted living, memory care, DON, Director of NursingSIGN ON BONUS AVAILABLEWe are looking for a polished Director of Nursing (DON) with experience in Assisted Living and Memory Care for an upscale senior living community.The Director of Nursing plans, organizes, develops, and directs the overall operation of the Nursing department to ensure the highest degree of quality care in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards.Minimum Requirements:Must be currently licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Illinois.Must have two (2) years of supervisory experience in an assisted living setting, preferably as a Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing.Must have strong leadership skills and be able to lead a team of nursing staff, as well as help foster a team atmosphere within the nursing division.Must be able to teach and lead by example on all shifts.Liaisons with residents, families, and support departments to adequately plan for resident needs.Must be knowledgeable of practices and procedures, as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in the assisted living facility in Illinois.Must have the ability to implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department.Must be very knowledgeable in state reporting and have the ability to develop and implement a plan of corrections.Displays integrity and professionalism.We represent an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any other federal, state, or local protected class.Posted:
